Our owners and team have significant industry experience and we operate in a friendly and inclusive environment.We are looking for a full time warehouse manager to carry out the warehousing function of our wholesale operation in Mulgrave, Victoria. We desire to engage a highly consistent, trustworthy, reliable and hardworking person who can work with a large degree of autonomy and communicate well within a small team. You will be the only full time warehouse employee at Mulgrave, with one part time assistant.This is an exciting opportunity to join a long term growth company.The key responsibilities of this role are:Conducting all duties in a safe manner in accordance with WHS policies and legislationUnloading containers and organising warehouse storage in an efficient and effective mannerPacking customer orders and loading customer trucks at time of pick up. (Note - some heavy lifting is required as a part of the role)Regular cycle counting of stocks & diligent recording of all samples, customer returns, etcLiaising closely with our Victorian Sales Manager and providing assistance wherever requiredRegular communication with the Sydney based customer service team regarding customer ordersManagement and oversight of the part time warehouse assistant in their roleYou will be required to develop a strong working knowledge of the Artmar product range and logistics processes in order to optimise efficiency and ultimately the level of service provided to our customers.Must Have experience:5 years experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse environmentPrior experience in a natural stone or porcelain tile business warehouse will be very highly regarded, as will any sales/customer service experienceGeneral computer literacy skills are of added valueIt is envisaged that a trial and training period of 1-2 weeks will take place with our Sydney based warehouse staff on commencement of employment.Only candidates with a current forklift licence need apply.Be careful - Don''t provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.
