Our Branch The Business Engagement and Performance Branch operates across Council as a strategic partner and standard-setter, empowering the organisation to deliver exceptional community and organisational value through enterprise strategy-to-execution alignment, good governance, and service and process excellence. The branch builds Councils capacity to manage performance, portfolios and change to deliver desired outcomes for the city and adapt to future demand and growth. The Role As the Value Management Office Lead, you will play a key role in shaping how Council invests in initiatives that make a real difference for our community. You will lead the development and maturity of portfolio governance frameworks, ensuring strategic investments deliver measurable benefits and align with Councils vision. Your expertise will guide business case development, strengthen assurance and risk practices, and embed a culture of accountability and transparency across programs and projects. To be successful you will have: extensive experience in project and program management, business case development, and the delivery and monitoring of governance and assurance frameworks in large, complex environments demonstrated ability to influence, collaborate, and navigate ambiguity.
