What youll do: Advocate data strategy with stakeholders and collaborate to plan initiative delivery. Partner with business stakeholders to translate complex data demands into deliverables. Provide technical leadership, guiding a team of data engineers to deliver highvalue solutions. Lead the design and delivery of scalable, secure, and sustainable data platform solutions. Champion data governance and bestpractice engineering, ensuring integrity, performance, and compliance. Drive operational excellence, identifying opportunities for optimisation and embedding selfhealing solutions. What were looking for: 15+ years experience specialising in data engineering, SQL database development, or BI engineering. Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent (preferred). Strong specialisation in database development, analytics data platforms, data transformation, data governance, CI/CD and DevOps. Deep expertise in building analytical data warehousing and data marts with complex data sets. Proven leadership in guiding teams, planning initiatives, and delivering enterprisescale solutions. Strong technical skills in AWS Snowflake, Microsoft Azure, SQL Server, dbt, SSIS, and CI/CD practices. Exceptional communication skillsable to simplify complex technical concepts and engage stakeholders. A passion for collaboration, innovation, transformation and building sustainable data solutions.
