Senior Finance Officer [ SeaLink Marine & Tourism - Whitsundays] Full Time Position in the beautiful Whitsundays Access to a range of Employee Benefits About the Role Located in the heart of Airlie Beach, SeaLink Whitsundays is a division of Sealink marine and Tourism- Australia''s largest Marine and Tourism company incorporating Red Cat adventures and Whitsunday Jet Skis. The Senior Finance Officer Whitsundays primary objective is to provide financial services for the following products/brands which make up the SeaLink Whitsundays Operations: SeaLink Whitsundays products (including contracted revenue streams); Red Cat Adventures and Whitsundays Jet Ski Tour products. The role of the Senior Finance Officer is to assist the Finance Manager to prepare management reports, budgets, forecasts, advice and provide insights and other analytical support services to management and a range of stakeholders to enable wellinformed business decisions to be made. This is a handson role primarily responsible for the daytoday processing of AR, AP and bank reconciliations. About You You will have an appropriate qualification in accounting or a related discipline. You will also have a sound understanding of accounting practices and their application, along with superior numerical ability, accuracy and attention to detail. To be successful in the role, you will have: Experience in accounting, general ledger, financial analysis and interpretation Experience in delivering financial support and services in a commercial environment (preferable travel/retail) Strong capability in stakeholder management across all levels of the organization A high level of selfmotivation with the ability to work autonomously Commercially astute Excellent problem solving, trouble shooting and decisionmaking skills Good time management skills and ability to effectively multitask Excellent organizational skills Min of 5 years working in a finance/accounting role Previous experience in developing and implementing procedures, workflows and maintaining policies related to finance and accounting would be highly regarded.
