About the Opportunity As our new Senior Governance Engineer, youll help shape ASCs technical standards and ensure compliance with engineering legislation. Reporting to the Governance Manager, youll support submarine sustainment and extension programs by embedding safety and productivity into ASCs engineering practices. Youll build strong stakeholder relationships, conduct assurance activities across sites, and contribute to strategic outcomes that minimise risk and maximise opportunity. Responsibilities Support and improve technical governance frameworks aligned with ASCs strategy and business goals. Monitor and manage stakeholder regulations, identifying risks and developing mitigation strategies. Develop and execute governance documentation, decisionmaking structures, and assurance processes. Provide clear advice and communication on technical frameworks across programs and corporate areas. Deliver assurance activities across product, safety, facilities, and engineering functions. Drive continuous improvement by identifying process enhancements and supporting innovation initiatives. About You Tertiary qualified in Engineering or bring equivalent industry experience 7+ years experience in engineering roles within highrisk, regulated environments Skilled in developing and refining governance documentation (policies, standards, procedures) Confident applying regulatory frameworks and standards in complex settings Experienced in building strong stakeholder relationships to drive governance outcomes Clear and effective communicator of technical information, both written and verbal This role requires a current National Police Clearance, an Australian Defence Security Clearance and an ability to access protected US defence technology. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearances and approvals.
