Reports to the Regional Deskside/Field Services Manager. English language proficiency is required.Key Responsibilities Oversee daily operations and project coordination for a team of 1 Team Lead and 13 PC support technicians across Canada and the US. Lead the development of metrics for efficiency, functionality and stewardship, implementing Continuous Improvement practices. Serve as an escalation point for critical situations and manage all aspects of team staffing, hiring and performance evaluations. Develop partnerships with other IS teams to ensure efficient and timely delivery of IT services. Maintain a current inventory of PC hardware, printer peripherals and software, and recommend hardware and software upgrades. Coach and mentor the team on Continuous Improvement principles, conduct huddles and provide regular performance updates. Manage support plans for Satellite PC Technicians and oversee Desk Side Project activities related to asset refresh, office relocations and department moves. Ensure Service Level Agreements are met, monitor staff work and efficiency, and act as an escalation point for any Desk Side related incident requiring management involvement.Qualifications Minimum 8+ years of management level experience, with 5+ years managing a technical team. Strong customer service experience and technical background, preferablyIL Foundation Certified. Proficiency in managing inventory, asset management and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
