Garment Technician | 3 days per week | Temporary contractGarment Technician | 3 days per week | Temporary contract3 days ago Be among the first 25 applicantsGAZMAN has a great opportunity for an experienced Garment Technician to join our Product team for a temporary contract, working 3 days per week over the next 8 weeks.In this role, youll work closely with our Product Development team to interpret garment designs, develop detailed garment specifications, and ensure our products meet the highest quality and fit standards in line with our brand positioning.Key Responsibilities:Create accurate garment specifications, including sketches, graded measurements, and make details.Coordinate fittings, measure garments, and ensure construction accuracy.Liaise with offshore suppliers to clarify specifications and resolve fit, grading, and construction queries.Check proto, fit, PP, and shipment samples to ensure quality standards are met.Support the Product and Production teams to meet deadlines within the development and production timelines.About you:510 years experience in garment construction and pattern making, ideally in menswearProven ability to create precise specifications and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and offshore suppliersStrong understanding of garment manufacturing processes and quality standardsSkilled in MS Office and Adobe IllustratorHighly organised with exceptional attention to detailThis role is based in our Support Office in Malvern.If youre a detail-focused Garment Technician with a passion for quality and fit, and youre available for a short-term contract, wed love to hear from you!About usAustin Group is an established Australian owned and family run fashion retailer and wholesaler that includes some of Australias most iconic menswear and womenswear brands.
