To support our growth, we are seeking interest from skilled and dedicated Lineworkers, Live Lineworkers, and Dual Trade Operators (in both Transmission & Distribution) to join our Field Operations teams. Working as part of our Works Delivery group, you''ll play a vital role in building, maintaining and restoring our electricity network. These roles are essential to keeping the power on for our communitiesresponding to faults promptly, delivering safe and reliable service, and working closely with customers when it matters most. Base salary ranging from $105,585 to $117,083 per annum (plus overtime and super) total package to be negotiated with preferred candidates based on skills and experience. Lineworker In this role, you''ll be responsible for: Maintaining Overhead Distribution and Transmission Standards Delivering safe, compliant construction, maintenance and fault response Attending to faults efficiently and within budget Communicating effectively with customers and the community Dual Trade All Lineworker responsibilities, plus: Construction and maintenance of overhead and underground distribution assets up to 22kV Installation and maintenance of public lighting, overhead conductors and cables Applying both electrical and linework trade skills across varied tasks Live Lineworker All Lineworker responsibilities, plus: Working autonomously in a dynamic Live HV environment Prioritising work and adapting to changing site conditions with a high level of technical competence About you You thrive in a team environment, communicate well and bring a strong commitment to safety and quality work. You''re proactive, adaptable and community minded. You will ideally bring: CertificateIII in ESI Power Systems (plus Transmission Overhead for Transmission roles) Tasmanian Electrical Practitioner''s Licence (or the ability to obtain) High Risk Work Licence (Dogging, Vehicle Loading Crane, EWP) or ability to obtain Live Line accreditation (or willingness to obtain) White Card, First Aid, and Medium Rigid Licence (or ability to obtain) Dual Trade Lineworkers: CertificateIII in Electrotechnology Electrician (or equivalent) As part of the recruitment process, you''ll undergo a medical assessment to ensure the role can be performed safely.
