The Role Were seeking a creative and results-driven Marketing Specialist to amplify our brand presence, attract diverse student cohorts, and support our mission to deliver exceptional vocational education. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, youll lead end-to-end marketing initiatives that resonate with local and international audiences, align with industry trends, and drive enrollment growth. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement end-to-end marketing strategies tailored to our VET qualifications (Automotive, Commercial Cookery, Hospitality, ELICOS, etc.) and short courses, targeting school leavers, career-changers, upskillers, and international students (aligned with CRICOS guidelines). Conduct market research to identify trends in vocational education, competitor activity, and student needs (e.g., demand for industry placements, interest in university pathways) to inform data-driven campaign decisions. Create and curate compliant, engaging marketing content (course brochures, student success stories, placement highlight videos, ELICOS program guides) that showcases our on-site facilities, industry partnerships, and 44 years of VET expertise. Manage digital and traditional marketing channels aligned with VET audience behavior: social media (LinkedIn for career-focused learners, Instagram for school leavers), SEO/SEM targeting VET courses in Adelaide/Sydney, education expos, and partnerships with local schools and businesses. Oversee international student marketing initiatives, including culturally relevant materials and agent collaboration, to promote our ELICOS program and vocational qualifications to global learners (adhering to CRICOS requirements). Analyze campaign performance (enrollment conversion, lead quality, channel ROI) using tools like Google Analytics and CRM data, adjusting strategies to meet enrollment targets for high-demand courses (e.g., Commercial Cookery, Hospitality). Collaborate with academic and administration teams to align marketing with course updates, open days, and industry placement opportunities, ensuring consistency with ASQA and AQTF regulatory standards. Manage the colleges brand positioning as a leading VET provider, ensuring all marketing assets reflect our reputation for practical, industry-aligned training and university pathway support. Required Skills & Qualifications At least a Bachelors degree 2-3 years of professional marketing experience, with preference for candidates experienced in education, or regulated industries Proficiency in digital marketing tools: SEO/SEM, social media management, email marketing platforms (Mailchimp/Campaign Monitor), Google Analytics, and CRM systems. Strong content creation and copywriting skills, with the ability to translate technical VET course details into compelling, accessible messaging for diverse audiences. Demonstrated experience in market research, campaign planning, and performance analysis to drive measurable results. Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills to work effectively with academic teams, compliance officers, and international recruitment teams.
