Zip Co Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Senior Product Manager, Merchant Growth & Enablement Join Zips Product team, where we obsess over building simple, transparent and intuitive experiences that help customers shop with confidence and empower merchants to grow. As our Senior Product Manager for Merchant Growth and Engagement, you will shape the journeys that define how Zip and our merchant partners work together. Youll uplift the merchant value proposition, drive onboarding conversion, remove operational friction and create an ecosystem where merchants can offer Zip products seamlessly. Your work will touch merchant dashboards and internal systems, influence crossfunctional delivery across Engineering, Marketing, Risk, Data Science, Compliance and Operations, and directly drive measurable commercial outcomes. What Youll Own Define and deliver the vision for merchant growth, designing and enhancing merchant onboarding, transactions and support experiences to drive acquisition and satisfaction. Partner with Product Design to craft compelling, compliant and intuitive merchant experiences, translating these into clear engineering requirements and guiding teams through delivery. Collaborate with Engineering, Marketing, Commercial, Risk, Compliance, Data Science and Operations to deliver scalable and merchantcentred solutions that balance speed, safety and commercial outcomes. Use data, experimentation and research insights to diagnose friction, prioritise improvements and validate impact. Own key metrics across onboarding quality, repayment performance and account engagement, ensuring forecasting, visibility and clear communication of trends. Champion customerfirst and compliant merchant experiences in partnership with Legal, Risk and MX teams. What Youll Bring To The Team 5+ years experience in product management within fintech, financial services, lending, payments or other regulated environments. Proven success designing and optimising merchant journeys across onboarding, repayments, account management, risk decisioning or lifecycle engagement. Business acumen with an understanding of the closedloop flywheel and the levers that drive merchant and customer engagement. Analytical depth, with the ability to translate insights into highimpact product opportunities. Comfort operating within complex technical and operational ecosystems, collaborating with engineering, risk, data and compliance teams to deliver outcomes at pace. Structured product craft across discovery, experimentation, prioritisation frameworks and iterative delivery. A mindset that embraces AI and new tools to adapt, learn and grow.
