Medical Workforce Administration Officer Your Role at St John of God Midland Hospital You will be responsible for providing a highly professional standard of clerical support service to the Hospitals Medical Administration Team and assist with onboarding and compliance checking of the Medical Workforce. The Position Support the Junior Medical Officer (JMO) Coordinator or Department Secretaries with the recruitment of Medical Practitioners. Source locum doctors to cover workforce gaps. This includes agent and Department Secretary liaison, accommodation and travel coordination, rental maintenance and invoice coordination. Manage the new starter onboarding process (including seconded doctors and locum/casual leaver relievers) for AHPRA, webPAS, Medicare Provider Numbers, Health Funds, Health Apps, network access, security swipe cards, creating passwords and record keeping. Assist in all aspects of the preparation of Medical staff orientation and ongoing administration. Maintain tracking of mandatory requirements, liaise with medical staff, Group HR, using Business Intelligence Portal for SJG employees and WA Health for seconded doctors; including pre-commencement paperwork, police clearances, working with children checks and mandatory modules in line with State Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Coordinate network access for medical students on placement within the hospital in conjunction with the UDNA/UWA on Site Student Support. You will have high level experience in an administrative role with excellent organisational and time management skills including the ability to organise tasks and set priorities, work effectively under pressure and meet multiple deadlines with minimal supervision. You will have experience developing written reports, minute taking and other business correspondence with a high level of attention to detail and professional presentation of work. To succeed you will have advanced word processing and computer literacy skills with experience using Microsoft Office suite. The ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders and maintain strict confidentiality is essential. Full-time and Part time positions available.
