Our Corporate and Commercial section has over 65 members nationally, and is known for its energy, business insight and legal expertise nationally and internationally. We give clients commercially focused legal advice on all aspects of corporate law and regulation affecting public and private companies, private equity firms and management teams. Our expertise spans mergers and acquisitions, equity capital markets, commercial contracting, compliance (including regulatory, corporate governance and directors'' duties), intellectual property, and privacy. Responsibilities mergers and acquisitions (M&A); equity capital markets (ECM) transactions; joint ventures, offtake and farm-ins; regulatory, compliance and corporate governance advice; and Qualifications 2 4 years'' postadmission experience gained in a corporate and commercial law practice; experience in the energy and resources sector, including a strong knowledge of relevant laws and regulations; corporate / commercial law experience (including transaction document drafting and assisting with due diligences); excellent analytical, problemsolving, research and communication skills; outstanding attention to detail; a genuine passion for and interest in contributing to the growth and success of our corporate practice, both in Perth and nationally; a teamplayer who can also work autonomously, within a supportive and collaborative environment.
