Positions are available across both headspace Darwin and headspace Palmerston.As the Clinical Lead, you will provide clinical leadership and support to the Primary Mental Health Services team across headspace Darwin and Palmerston. You''ll work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidencebased, developmentally appropriate care to young people and their families.ResponsibilitiesThis role includes:Providing direct clinical care to young people with mild to moderate mental health concernsSupervising and coaching staff to build clinical capabilitySupporting service delivery across the four headspace streams: mental health, physical/sexual health, AOD, and work/studyContributing to quality improvement and service development initiativesQualifications & ExperienceApproved tertiary qualification in a healthrelated discipline (e.g., Psychology, Social Work, OT, Nursing) and registration with AHPRA or relevant bodyMinimum 5 years'' experience in mental health, including youthfocused servicesPostgraduate training in evidencebased therapies (e.g., CBT, ACT)Demonstrated leadership and supervision experiencePrior experience or, at a minimum, demonstrated commitment to working respectfully with Indigenous and culturally and linguistically diverse clients, communities, staff, and Aboriginal Controlled OrganisationsNote: The filling of this position is intended to constitute a special/equal opportunity measure under section 8(1) of the Racial Discrimination Act 1975 (Cth), section 57 of the Antidiscrimination Act 1996 (NT) and section 12 of the Equal Opportunity Act 2010.Special Measures vacancies are open to everyone including Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people.
