Foreman / Civil Crew Leader - Water Infrastructure Australian Infrastructure Group location_pin Brisbane, QLD money_bag A$40-$60 p/h home_work On-site Posted 1 day ago About the role Take charge of a skilled crew delivering vital water infrastructure projects across Brisbane. In this full-time role, youll lead daytoday site operations while staying handson with practical civil work. Youll be responsible for setting out work, guiding your team, maintaining productivity, and ensuring safety and quality standards are met. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys being on the tools as well as organising and motivating a team to get the job done right. What youll be doing: Lead and support a crew to complete pipe laying, earthworks, pump station upgrades and other civil construction tasks Ensuring compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations on site Interpreting technical drawings and specifications to guide the teams work Monitor progress, report updates, and troubleshoot issues to keep projects on track Coach and mentor less experienced team members to develop their skills Coordinate activities with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders What were looking for: Several years experience as a Crew Leader, Leading Hand, or Foreperson in civil construction, with a strong background in water infrastructure (sewer, water underground pipework, pump stations, treatment plants) Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team Solid understanding of construction methods, materials, and equipment Thorough knowledge of relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations Strong attention to detail and ability to read and interpret technical drawings What we offer: At Australian Infrastructure Group, we take pride in a team culture built on respect, hard work, and getting the job done right.
