Associate Director, Content and Digital Library Strategy Join to apply for the Associate Director, Content and Digital Library Strategy role at Flinders University. Due to an upcoming retirement, we have an outstanding opportunity for an experienced leader to join the Senior Executive Team at Flinders University Library. In this role you will shape and implement comprehensive library plans, policies and budget strategies to align with organisational goals and optimise resource allocation. As Associate Director, Content and Digital Library Services you will be accountable for leading and managing teams responsible for resources, content and digital infrastructure, ensuring alignment with the Universitys strategic priorities and Library plans. You will drive digital transformation, manage budgetsparticularly for collection acquisitionsand contribute to strategic planning, policy development and compliance with University standards and legislation. A key focus is maintaining a sustainable workforce that reflects the Universitys ethos and values while ensuring highquality services for students, staff and researchers. About You High level written and interpersonal communication skills. Exemplary leadership with experience building and sustaining collaborative partnerships internally and externally. Deep understanding of contemporary issues in academic libraries and Australian Universities. Strategic, analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to apply them through planning, policy analysis and implementation. Commitment to a service ethic and proven ability to lead an effective service organisation, including staff leadership, continuous improvement, resource management and project delivery. Relevant experience, ideally with a postgraduate qualification in the information science domain (e.g. Library Science, Information Records Management, Digital Literacy, Computer Science, Information Technology, Digital/eLearning, Digital Education, Vocational Education and Training, Business/Data Analytics) or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
