The remarkable achievements from this project have now sparked an increase in our operational demands as we are seeking experienced Crushing Leading Hand to carry out operations around the mobile crushing plant (Terex Finlay) ensuring targets are met safely. What we offer Permanent full-time role 2&1 roster Attractive hourly rate Superannuation paid for all hours (12%) BIBO from Perth; DIDO options Paid travel during rostered hours Excellent camp accommodation and facilities Supportive team culture with career development opportunities Ability to salary sacrifice superannuation About the Position Reporting to the Crushing Supervisor, the Crushing Leading Hand will ensure the safe and efficient operation of the mobile crushing plant. Their duties will include but not limited to: Lead and assist the crushing team to meet crushing targets safely Ensure the crushing plant is running to its required standard Ensure safety policies and procedures are adhered to With a loader, feed materials into the crusher, remove finished products Perform daily inspections, clean and lubricate machinery, and clear any jams with hand tools Inspect the finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and suitable for lab testing What weare seeking Previous experience as a Leading Hand/Supervisor in a mobile crushing plant Previous experience operating mobile crushing plant at hard rock mining projects Strong understanding of mechanical systems and preventative maintenance Physically fit for tasks like shoveling, loading and clearing jams Good communication skills for working with supervisors and ground staff Operators with a positive attitude to safety and teamwork. Hold a valid Australian drivers licence Be available to start ASAP. You must have full Australian working rights, be able to complete and pass a medical assessment (including drug & alcohol screen) and be able to provide a current National Police Clearance (within last 12 months).
