The successful candidate will support the Head Chef and be part of the main kitchen team, delivering a high standard of catering services to patients, staff and visitors whilst maintaining a safe, clean working environment. Responsibilities Support the Head Chef and oversee kitchen operations. Deliver a high standard of catering services within the hospital setting. Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant working environment. Ensure adherence to HACCP, Health & Safety, and COSHH procedures. Comply with the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland. Abide by the Code of Conduct throughout employment. Accept weekend enhancements paid for working during weekend shifts. Qualifications Working knowledge of HACCP, Health & Safety and COSHH procedures. Previous experience as a cook in a largescale catering environment at a supervisory level. Good knowledge of working procedures, practices & equipment, achieved through experience and professional qualifications. Working Hours & Schedule 37 hours per week, 5 days per week.
