Apprenticeship Engineering Mechanical (CNC Machinist) Shipbuilding Employment Pathways (SEP) Location: PEER Albert Park, South Australia, Australia About the role Train toward a Certificate III in Engineering Mechanical with a focus as a machinist through PEER and TAFE SA, with onthejob experience at leading defence employers across SouthAustralia. Youll learn to: Operate lathes, mills, grinders and CNC machines Read engineering drawings Complete precision machining and fitting Assemble, maintain and repair mechanical equipment Youll receive full mentoring and support, plus a competitive wage, leave entitlements and superannuation. The position is ideal for school leavers, career changers, or anyone looking to build a career in defence. About you Youre motivated, reliable and ready to commit to a 4year apprenticeship in the growing defence industry. You enjoy handson work, problemsolving, teamwork, and follow safety procedures. Strong computer and numeracy skills are essential.
