As Maters first new public hospital in over 60 years, this state of the art facility will meet the needs of the growing Greater Springfield region. With 174 public beds, ICU, maternity, emergency and surgical services, its set to care for over 200,000 patients annually.Salary range: $64.64 $69.55 per hour plus superannuation andaccess to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900+access to many staff benefits!What youll be doingAs the Dietitian Team Leader, you will provide leadership and high-quality clinical dietetic services across Mater Hospital Springfield. Reporting to the Allied Health Manager, you will lead a team of HP3 Dietitians and relevant Allied Health Assistants, ensuring safe, effective and evidence-based care.Your responsibilities will include:Leading the delivery of competent to complex clinical dietetic services for inpatients and outpatients.Providing clinical supervision, mentoring and professional guidance to HP3 DietitiansManaging a clinical workload and supporting equitable distribution of caseloads across the teamLeading the development, review and implementation of dietetic clinical practices, procedures and protocolsIdentifying, developing and implementing quality improvement and service development initiativesWorking collaboratively with multidisciplinary stakeholders across the Springfield region and broader Mater networkProviding professional advice to patients, families, carers and healthcare professionalsSupporting education and supervision of students and staffAbout youYoure an experienced, compassionate Dietician Team Leader who thrives on supporting others and delivering patient-focused community care.
