In this pivotal role, you will oversee the delivery of safe, high-quality, person-centred care, ensuring clients including those with complex needs feel supported and independent in their own homes. As the Senior Operations Manager Home Care, you will: Lead and inspire Home Care Coordinators and the Clinical Lead, fostering a positive, client-focused culture. Oversee service delivery, intake, and care planning to ensure timely, seamless support. Partner with Clinical Governance and Quality to uphold standards and drive continuous improvement. Manage workforce performance, recruitment, and retention, ensuring staff feel supported and engaged. Monitor KPIs, risks, and client feedback to strengthen outcomes and service excellence. Build strong relationships with clients, families, and external providers, representing RAAFA Home Care in sector forums. Set clear expectations and service standards for Coordinators and the Clinical Lead, guiding caseloads, priorities, and escalation pathways. Coach and develop your team through regular supervision, feedback, and performance planning, ensuring accountability and growth. Champion a positive, client-centred culture across the workforce, supporting engagement, wellbeing, and continuous improvement. Enable the Clinical Lead to uphold clinical practice standards, compliance with guidelines, and competency across nursing and care staff. Ensure care documentation is accurate, timely, and compliant, with staff consistently meeting documentation standards. About you: Hold a tertiary qualification in health, human services, nursing, allied health, social work, community services, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience). 5+ years management experience in home care, aged care or community services. Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and deliver high-performing services. Possess strong knowledge of home care service delivery models, relevant legislative, regulatory, and accreditation requirements for home care/aged care services. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build trust and collaborate effectively with clients, families, staff, and external providers. Experience leading change, resolving service delivery issues, and improving operational systems/processes in a client-focused environment. Familiarity with quality improvement and clinical governance frameworks, and experience partnering with governance/quality teams to meet compliance obligations.
