OverviewMedical Centre located South of Perth in Beeliar. We are currently recruiting for Part Time Permanent Medical Receptionists to join our General Practice and Urgent Care Services on a casual basis. You will be required to work a variety of shifts which will include Days, Afternoons and Evenings. There may be some occasional weekend shifts and public holidays are shared out with the team. Our team is committed to delivering high quality customer service and support to our doctors and patients. We are looking for a friendly and efficient team member who is looking for diversity in your role and enjoys a fast pace professional environment.ResponsibilitiesGreet patients and visitors to the Centre with a warm and welcoming attitude.Operate phone switchboard.Managing and update patient information accurately showing attention to detailManage and coordinate patient bookings with GP appointment booksAssist with patient enquiries.Assist GPs with administration.Faxing and responding to Centre emails and incoming correspondenceProcessing of Medicare, DVA, third-party and patient billingAdhering to practice standard operating procedures and policies and proceduresMaintaining a clean and tidy reception areaComplete basic Centre cleaning chores and attend to spillsManage Centre debtCompletion of day-to-day tasks and dutiesReconciliation of daily bankingSkills & QualificationsPrevious experience working in a general practice or urgent care facility, essential.Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment.Strong communication and time management skillsA caring and collaborative approach to patient care and servicesBest Practice knowledge or any other clinical software, essential.Ability to multi-task and show attention to detail.Ability to work autonomously or collaboratively within a team.Dedicated and enthusiastic work ethicBright, engaging and confident personalityAdditional DetailsSalary range: A$60,000.00A$66,416.00 per year (as listed in original posting)How to applyPlease send your CV and covering letter to: @lagoonmedicalcentre.com.au #J-18808-Ljbffr
