OverviewThe ORS Positive Behaviour Support division is expanding and we are seeking our next clinician to join us. You will join a national team of 300+ Positive Behaviour Support Practitioners providing clinical services to NDIS participants aged 0-65. You will work across early intervention, school age, adolescent and adult services with clients who have various presentations, diagnoses and disability types.You will get to work with an amazing group of clients over a period of months or even years. You will play an integral part in their personal growth and development, working together to meet their goals. You will form a close bond with your clients and celebrate their achievements together, every step of the way.Your day to day duties will involve working with allied health practitioners, support workers and family members to achieve the best possible outcomes for your clients. You will assess and observe participants challenging behaviours and work towards increasing skills, improving emotion regulation and introducing replacement behaviours to reduce the use of restrictive practices.Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) plans and assessments focus on increasing a persons quality of life including improving their skills and enhancing their independence.
