We are actively seeking an experienced Specification Representative to drive sales and be responsible for a territory covering the inner suburbs and surrounding areas of Sydney CBD.Polytec is looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Specification Representative to join our growing Sales team. Through the development of brands from manufacturing services to recycling initiatives, Polytec continues to grow in the Australian market.About the RoleWe are currently seeking a Specification Representative to drive sales and be responsible for a territory covering the inner suburbs and surrounding areas of Sydney CBD.If you are a driven and results oriented Sales professional looking to be a part of a great success story, then we have the perfect opportunity for you!Our national Sales team comprises of over 150 people with an average length of service of more than 5 years with a strong focus on developing and promoting internally.This role will have the successful candidate out on the road actively servicing our existing customer base, building relationships with existing customers, sourcing new business opportunities and achieving sales targets.Your new position, reporting to the Commercial Sales Manager, will involve:Managing the Architectural and Design market, within a geographically defined areaEstablishing and developing executive relationships with key customers in the marketMaintaining project and client databasesReport on specification activities within the regionPresenting our range of products to customers in both one on one, and group settingsLiaising with internal departments to respond to customer enquiries and resolve any customer issuesContinually seeking new business opportunities for the polytec product rangeWhat youll bring to the TeamHave proven 3-5 years experience in account management and business developmentHave demonstrated experience in seeking out and securing new clients and projects and maintaining and expanding a customer/client base through outstanding customer serviceExperience in driving sustained growth in a competitive marketHave strong presentation and negotiation skillsBe proficient in the Microsoft Office SuiteHave experience with a CRM databaseBe a self-starter looking for a challenging and rewarding positionHave a flair for colour and designBe up to date on latest trends in the industryExperience in the building industry, whilst not essential, will be highly regarded.Due to the nature of this role, you will be required to have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
