Medical Administration (Healthcare & Medical) Casual $35-$40 per hour Manly, NSW Casual, 2-3 days per week with the pathway to grow into a permanent part-time position Office hours: 8:30 am to 5 pm Pay rate: $35-$40 per hour, dependent on experience Role overview Join our team at Vein Doctors Sydney as a dedicated medical receptionist within our Endovascular Varicose Vein Clinic. This position offers a chance to be an integral part of an expanding and forwardthinking team. Working closely with the specialist and Practice Manager, your key responsibilities include but not limited to: Scheduling and managing patient appointments, handling billing including Medicare, arranging additional tests, and following up with patients. Coordinating with hospitals for procedural bookings. Building and maintaining positive relationships with patients from their first contact through to the completion of their treatment. Providing patients with procedural quotations, billing details, and information on additional fees. Overseeing payment processes, billing management and debt collection. Assisting with practice management and promotional activities. About you Experience in medical reception or similar roles is preferred but not required. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks. Capable of working independently or as part of a team and able to escalation issues when necessary. You should be punctual, dependable, and take responsibility seriously. Familiarity with financial processes such as invoicing and debt collection is a plus, but not required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Drive, and handling EFTPOS systems. Must be a permanent resident or citizen of Australia. An excellent candidate could offer to work at both locations (Manly & St Leonards) although this is not compulsory.
