The Kilmore Miniature Railway was first established in 1982 and quickly became a community favourite. Today, the group continues this legacy, ensuring the railway remains a joyful place for families and train lovers of all ages.Volunteers can choose from a variety of roles, including:Helping with gardening, painting, and general maintenance around the railway groundsAssisting with track and train upkeep under the guidance of experienced membersProviding administrative support, such as recordkeeping and event coordinationSupporting event days, greeting visitors, helping with rides, and creating a fun, safe experience for familiesLearning to operate or maintain the miniature trains (full training provided)By volunteering with the Kilmore Miniature Railway, youll help revive and sustain a treasured local attraction that brings people together, sparks curiosity in young visitors, and strengthens community pride.
