About the Role In this role, youll lead a crew including seasonal workers to ensure sheds are efficiently cleaned and prepared for new flocks. Some of your key responsibilities will include: Highpressure cleaning and sanitation of poultry sheds and equipment Coordinating shed setup and fumigation preparation Ensuring all cleaning activities follow strict WHS and biosecurity requirements Assisting with bird placement, relocation, and vaccination Conducting toolbox talks and safety checks with your team Leading seasonal workers and ensuring they are trained and supported Completing required recordkeeping for cleaning, chemical usage, and compliance What Were Looking For Previous experience in a leadership or team coordination role Strong understanding of biosecurity and safe work practices Ability to work in a physical, fastpaced environment Machinery or highpressure cleaning equipment experience is highly regarded Strong communication skills, organisation, and attention to detail A positive and proactive attitude with a commitment to teamwork What Youll Get in Return Full onthejob training and opportunities for career development A friendly, hardworking and supportive team environment A role that directly contributes to bird welfare and farm performance Job stability as part of a growing Australian agribusiness Team perk: two dozen free eggs every fortnight from McLean Farms If this sounds like the right fit for you, wed love to hear from you.
