Cannon Trailers is seeking a reliable and motivated Fit-Up Labourer to join our production team. This role focuses on the fit-up of components after the trailer has been painted, preparing each build for customer delivery. About the role: As a Fit-Up Labourer, you will complete the installation and assembly tasks required once trailers return from paint. This includes fitting hardware, installing accessories, and assisting with quality checks. Your work ensures every trailer leaves the workshop to Cannon Trailers high standards. Key Responsibilities Fitup and assembly of parts after painting Fitting tyres Installing water tanks, effluent tanks and plumbing components Mounting tyre carriers and associated hardware Installing aluminium cladding sides and trim Replacing or adjusting components damaged during transport/painting Assisting with quality checks and completion tasks Using hand and power tools safely Working with production leaders to meet deadlines Maintaining a clean and organised workspace What were looking for: Experience with hand tools and basic mechanical tasks Experience installing aluminium components (advantageous) Experience with 2pack painting is an advantage Strong attention to detail Ability to follow instructions and work independently Reliable, punctual, and physically capable of handson work Positive attitude and willingness to learn What we offer: Overtime opportunities Training provided in trailer-specific components Supportive workshop team environment Opportunity for growth within the company Located at 17 Timber Street, Crows Nest QLD Email your resume or a short summary of experience to ******@cannontr.com Or apply in person at Cannon Trailers, 17 Timber St, Crows Nest QLD. #J-18808-Ljbffr
