Desol Group Pty Ltd is based in Sunbury and holds a major government contract to service and repair vehicles across Victoria. Responsibilities As a key member of our maintenance team, your primary responsibility will be routine servicing of fleet equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability. You will also occasionally perform repair and maintenance tasks to support operational requirements. Fleet servicing range includes Hino, Isuzu, Mercedes medium trucks, Toyota Hilux, Ford Ranger, outboard boats and trailers, light towers, car trailers and more. This fulltime position requires you to stay away overnight for 1-2 nights per week, with accommodation and meals provided. A service vehicle and uniform are included, and you may be eligible for a performance bonus. Keep accurate service records. Liaise with the administration team to order necessary parts and update servicing records. To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate a strong work ethic and be comfortable working independently. Excellent customer service skills are essential and a positive friendly nature when interacting with clients and colleagues. Computer literacy required. Qualifications & Experience Trade Certificate in Heavy vehicle Mechanics (Light vehicle Mechanics considered) Current Australian driver''s licence, minimum Medium rigid truck licence preferred An ability and willingness to stay away from home (average 12 nights per week) Excellent written and verbal communications Strong work ethic and reliability Must have an Australian working visa.
