Marina Reception / Customer Service Junior Keppel Bay Marina is a family built, owned and operated business. Keppel Bay Marina has grown over the years and now consists of several separate, but fully integrated business elements that work in synergy to create arguably the most comprehensive marine and tourism facilities on the East Coast of Australia including: 500+ berth marina Award winning Waterline Restaurant Boat Charters & Tourist Services Boatyard with travelift Brokerage & Chandlery Position Purpose Part of the customer service team, this reception role is responsible for efficient and friendly service of all customers of Keppel Bay Marina and The Waterline Restaurant. The role is the first point of contact with customers, greeting them and handling walkin guests, telephone, email and internet enquiries. Key responsibilities include managing restaurant and marina reservations in a timely and accurate manner, tourist product sales and restaurant service as required. This is a unique opportunity for an entrylevel position in hospitality and marine tourism. Personal Requirements Excellent phone manner Neat personal appearance Excellent communication & customer service skills Prompt and reliable attendance A friendly, energetic and enthusiastic personality Experience in hospitality preferred Interest in and knowledge of boats and boating Ability to complete tasks as directed Willingness to learn Mature to work efficiently unsupervised Availability to work on weekends Team player attitude This role would ideally suit a school leaver looking to enter the workforce or planning a gap year before further study. It is a diverse role with opportunities to gain experience in all areas of customer service and hospitality. Traineeship opportunity available.
