Position Purpose Reception is a key function in frontline and the operations at Skypark Cairns. The frontline reception team is a vital part of the daily operation and running of the site being the first and final point of contact for guests coming to visit Skypark Cairns. We pride ourselves on our unique culture and are responsible for changing lives everyday whether guests are doing their first ever Bungy Jump or Giant Swing we want these experiences to be memorable and for guests to remember the way they felt when visiting Skypark Cairns. Responsibilities Be responsible for morning briefings with the entire team, presenting sales targets and operations for the day. Confidently work with checklists, requisitions plus opening and closing functions during designated shifts. Ensure collection of cash and credit card payments, vouchers and daily balancing are completed accurately and any issues are communicated to the Reception Supervisor in a timely manner. Maximise all sales opportunities by offering upgrades, addons, media packages, memberships and merchandise, as well as upselling food and beverage offerings on site, information on upcoming events and promotions. Ensure all guests booked for activities complete all required paperwork accurately, with medical conditions communicated to the Operations crew in a timely manner. Adhere to all Safety & Compliance procedures and WHS standards, reporting any incidents immediately and rectifying hazards where possible. Support the Sales & Marketing team with promotions and special events, helping to develop sales strategies with Management to promote Skypark Cairns. Qualifications Strong interpersonal skills and ability to offer world class customer service. Fun and energetic personality, being the first and last contact guests will encounter when visiting Skypark Cairns. Logical, common sense approach to resolving issues, concerns and any complaints that may arise. Effective time management skills with the ability to multitask. Strong attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including a clear and polite phone manner. Confident in communicating clearly with the Operations Crew and working as part of a team or unsupervised to achieve daily sales targets. Candidate must have a Blue Card. Full availability and flexibility including weekends and public holidays. Skypark Cairns is a 7day operation and the position is Casual 2030 hours, but for the right candidate a Permanent Parttime role will be considered. The successful candidate can expect attractive EBA rates and be paid a salary above the award!
