Electrical Fitter - Switchboard Manufacturing GEM Switchboards is a locally owned and operated electrical manufacturing company. The GEM team have been producing quality, low voltage switchboards for over 60 years for the commercial, industrial and telecommunication sectors. We offer full turnkey solutions to our clients from design, manufacturing through to onsite commissioning. Our people are the key to our success with many of our staff working in the business for decades and progressing through from apprentices to either workshop leading hands or to project management / engineering roles. About the Role GEM is looking for a motivated and reliable full-time Electrical Fitter to join our busy Workshop in West Gosford. Youll work as part of a skilled team, building high-quality electrical switchboards and control panels for a range of clients. Qualifications & Experience Experience as an Electrical Trade Assembler Previous work in Electrical Switchboard Manufacturing Busbar experience (advantageous but not essential) Tasks & Responsibilities Interpret single line diagrams, wiring and control schematics Assembly, fit-out switchboards and control panels What We Offer Permanent, full-time role with long-term stability 4-day work week with plenty of overtime available Supportive, friendly team environment Opportunities for skill development and career growth Applicants must be based in Australia with full working rights.
