About the Role Youll be responsible for preparing and delivering high-quality, nutritious meals and snacks for children aged 05 years, ensuring all dietary requirements and allergies are carefully managed. This centre strongly values safety, professionalism and team culture and theyre looking for someone who takes pride in their work and brings a happy, proactive attitude each day. Were Looking For Someone Who Has: Experience as a Chef or Cook, ideally within childcare, aged care or commercial kitchen settings. Strong knowledge of food allergies and the ability to adapt menus safely. Food Safety and Handling training (or willingness to obtain). Experience operating or implementing a Food Safety Program, including documentation and record-keeping. Excellent personal hygiene and adherence to professional kitchen standards. A warm, friendly, professional disposition. Blue Card or ability to gain a Blue Card. The ability to receive and implement feedback positively as part of a collaborative team.
