Duties include :Providing personal care, including bathing, showering, dressing, grooming, toileting and mobility assistance, according to each clients care planAssisting with activities of daily living such as meal preparation, feeding assistance, light housekeeping, laundry and basic household tasksOffering companionship, emotional support and social engagement, including conversation, accompanying clients on walks or to appointments, and supporting community participationAssisting with medication prompts / reminders in line with organisational policies and documented care plans (no administering of Schedule 8 medicines)Observing and monitoring client wellbeing, reporting any changes in health, mood, appetite or mobility to supervisors promptlyDelivering culturally sensitive, person-centred care, respecting clients backgrounds, preferences, routines and privacyFollowing all care plans, risk assessments, infection control procedures and WHS requirementsAccurately completing shift documentation, incident reports and progress notes in a timely mannerLiaising with families, coordinators and other care team members to support coordinated careWhat Were Looking ForFluent Mandarin to meet the needs of our culturally and linguistically diverse client baseA natural caring attitude, empathy and patience, with genuine passion for supporting older adultsReliability, professionalism and strong communication skillsExperience in aged care, disability support or community care (highly regarded but not essential)Ability to perform personal care tasks, use safe manual-handling techniques and follow written care plansA valid drivers licence and reliable vehicle (preferred)Willingness to obtain and maintain required clearancesMake a Real Difference in Someones LifeIf you are caring, committed and passionate about supporting older adults to live safely and independently at home, we would love to hear from you. #J-18808-Ljbffr
