About the Role The Receptionist with DCC Industry Group is the first point of contact for clients and plays a vital role in creating a warm, professional, and supportive environment. This role requires strong communication skills, a high level of organization, and the ability to manage a range of administrative tasks in a busy clinical setting. The receptionist ensures smooth daily operations by coordinating appointments, supporting clinicians, handling client enquiries, processing payments, and maintaining accurate and confidential records. The role is based in our Caboolture office, with the first week of orientation taking place in our Nambour office. Main Responsibilities Ensure an effective and efficient reception service is provided to clients and any other visitors to the Practice Managing the reception and appointment system, updating forms and reporting templates as required Booking new clients and managing therapists'' timetables Ensure adequate supplies of consumables are on hand at all times including staff amenities and general office supplies Invoicing, payments and general office duties Complete other daily, weekly and monthly core tasks to support smooth running of the reception area Open up premises at the start of the day, deactivate alarm and prepare to receive clients At the end of the day, ensure building is secured, lights off and alarm activated General cleaning duties and other reasonable duties as required Whats on Offer Monday to Friday No weekends! Access to EAP One on one supervision and mentoring Supportive leadership with professional development opportunity Qualifications / Requirements Previous administrative or receptionist experience (allied health or healthcare preferred) Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organization and timemanagement skills, with high attention to detail and accuracy Experience with practice management software (e.g., Cliniko) or willingness to learn Familiarity with Medicare, NDIS, or private health billing processes (preferred but not essential) Professional, welcoming, and clientfocused attitude Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and within a team Current drivers license (P2 or Opens) Working with Children Check (QLD Paid Blue Card) NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (Yellow Card) NDIS Worker Orientation Module Satisfactory National Police check First Aid and CPR or willingness to obtain (will be facilitated by DCC) How to Apply Please complete and submit your cover letter explaining how your skills, experience, and personal attributes qualify you to succeed in completing the key responsibilities.
