Based at the Glenside Health Campus, this two-year development program provides a solid foundation for nurses beginning their mental health practice, equipping you with the clinical, educational, and operational tools to thrive. About the Role As a Graduate Mental Health Nurse, you will deliver direct, comprehensive and recovery-focused nursing care to a designated group of consumers. Under the support and supervision of an experienced preceptor, you will: - Provide high-quality mental health care across inpatient and/or community settings - Engage in education, counselling and group work as essential elements of consumer recovery - Accept accountability for your own nursing practice and delegation to others - Work within the framework of the National Mental Health Policy, National Standards and SA Health values This program is designed to help you build confidence and competence as a beginning practitioner, so you can progress toward a meaningful, rewarding career in mental health nursing.
