Operating Theatres - Theatre Orderly - Casual Pool 2025 to 2026 - Job no: 901605 - Work type: Casual - Location: Adelaide Metro Western - Categories: Allied and Scientific Health - Salary WHA-4: $29.70 - $30.01 per hour plus 25% casual leave loading - Salary WHA-5: $30.39 - $30.70 per hour plus 25% casual leave loading About the Role Working under general direction, you will assist Medical and Nursing staff by performing a full range of duties both inside and outside of the Operating Theatre area. Key responsibilities include: - Transportation and positioning of patients. - Setup, collection and delivery of theatre equipment. - Cleaning and ancillary duties. - Assisting with positioning of equipment, tourniquets, electrosurgery equipment, monitors, cameras, microscopes, insufflators, etc., for scheduled procedures. - Preparing beds for postoperative patients, changing linen, applying electric blanket, drip stand, cot sides. You will work in a multidisciplinary team, using modern methods of assessment and treatment in medical, surgical, mental health, allied health and other techniques.
