The team ensures effective financial management, facilities management, and technological support to the organisation.About the RoleThe Technology and Facilities Manager is a full-time position, responsible for the secure, efficient, and cost-effective management of Lifestarts IT infrastructure, systems, facilities, and assets to ensure operational effectiveness. This role provides strategic guidance to enhance technology solutions, oversees vendor and contract management, and ensures consistent and reliable services are delivered across all Lifestart sites.This role is hybrid, based out of our head office in Rhodes Business Park but may require you to travel to our other offices around Sydney at times.Responsibilities:The key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Oversee the Lifestart IT helpdesk and ticketing system and managing escalated, complex issuesCoordinate the deployment and maintenance of IT infrastructure, systems, and applications, including mobile, desktop, and network resourcesAct as the main point of contact for hardware, software, and vendor-related issues, ensuring efficient solutions and supportOversee the maintenance and functionality of Lifestarts website and SharePoint applicationsFacilities ManagementManage the procurement of general office supplies and refurbishmentsOversee facilities and property management, focusing on proactive building works to ensure offices are well-maintained, safe, and compliant with lease obligations, reviewing new lease agreements where necessaryOversee site management through regular site visits, inspections and audits, to ensure compliance with workplace safety requirements across all locations and thinking proactively about improvements that could be madeTeam Management & ComplianceProvide supervision, training, and coaching to individual team members, including monitoring their individual performance-based objectivesDevelop and manage the technology and facilities budget, monitoring expenses to ensure cost-effective use of resources and alignment with financial targetsProviding Insurance oversight by managing organisational insurances and claims processesAbout You - Skills and ExperienceBachelors degree in IT, Facilities Management, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)Strong knowledge of current and emerging IT systems (including cloud-based applications), networks, and hardware management, including experience with mobile, desktop, and server infrastructureProven experience in IT systems and resource management, vendor coordination, facilities oversight, and helpdesk managementFamiliarity with property leases and facilities safety standardsDemonstrated experience in the implementation of corporate, training, data IT and/or other projects, including the capacity to participate in organisational change initiativesExperience managing incident registers and ensuring compliance with policies and proceduresExperience in developing, managing, and forecasting budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resourcesStrong leadership skills with the ability to guide, support, and motivate cross-functional teams, as well as maintaining a positive team environmentFull working rights in AustraliaAlign with Lifestarts values and believe you would be a great fitValid Working with Childrens Check (WWCC) Clearance (or willingness to obtain)Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check (NDISWC) Clearance (or willingness to obtain)Fully vaccinated for the Covid-19 Virus (3 doses) or accepted medical exemption certificateCurrent drivers license and use of own carWhy Join Lifestart?YOUR FUTURE, EMPOWERED!Working at Lifestart means working for an organisation that has grown from humble beginnings to become one of Australias leading disability service providers without compromising the values at its heart.Lifestart was founded in 1996 by a group of eight families who believed kids with disability deserved better support.
