About the Role We are seeking a dynamic Disability Day Programs Team Leader who will take a handson approach to develop, plan, and deliver lifestyle and capacitybuilding programs that enhance the physical, mental and emotional wellbeing of individuals with disabilities. You will have experience in leading a team and actively engage in personalised program delivery fostering a positive inclusive community atmosphere and empowering participants to reach their full potential. This position is a 12month fixedterm contract with availability from Monday to Friday 8am5pm. Key Responsibilities Lead plan and deliver diverse lifestyle programs that promote the wellbeing of participants tailored to individual needs. Work directly with participants, families and staff to create and implement personcentred programs. Actively engage in program delivery ensuring high participant satisfaction and positive outcomes. Integrate lifestyle activities into participants care plans collaborating with care professionals. Organise and facilitate social events and activities that support mental health and enhance quality of life. Oversee team rostering, provide training and ensure high standards in program delivery. Maintain accurate records of participant progress, activities and feedback. Manage the Volunteer Program to enhance participant experiences. Identify and report any risks ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all. Key Requirements Certificate IV in Leisure and Health Aged Care Disability or equivalent. Proven experience (12 months) in a similar role with strong knowledge of disability needs and preferences. Previous experience in leading a team and delivering engaging programs or events. Ability to work fulltime (Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm). Strong written and verbal communication skills with computer literacy. Current NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check. First Aid Certificate. A creative proactive approach to developing engaging activities. Strong interpersonal skills, empathy and a passion for enhancing the lives of people with disabilities. Valid driver''s licence and reliable vehicle required.
