Nepean Hospital is a teaching hospital that offers tertiary referral services in multiple specialties. The Nepean Campus aims to support communities with worldclass clinical facilities and services. Responsibilities Support the delivery of safe, efficient, and effective pharmaceutical services for patients across inpatient, outpatient, and community settings within the district. Contribute to development and maintenance of evidencebased, qualityassured electronic cancer treatment protocols to enable computerised prescribing. Provide medicines information and education to staff, patients, and community groups to promote compliance and safety in drug therapy. Review and actively manage clinical trials conducted in cancer care, ensuring pharmacy activities are delivered accurately, ethically, and to the highest standards. Build strong collaborative partnerships within the Pharmacy and Cancer Care teams, driving continuous improvement in service provision and enhancing patient outcomes. Qualifications Tertiary qualifications in Pharmacy and current general registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA). Demonstrated competence in current drug knowledge, with a strong preference for experience in cancer therapies. Demonstrated commitment to professional development and quality improvement activities. Experience in the provision of hospitalbased clinical pharmacy services, preferably in a public hospital setting. Ability to work effectively independently, as part of a pharmacy team and a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Excellent written, verbal and electronic communication skills. Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills with the ability to meet competing deadlines. Competence across a range of IT platforms, including dispensing systems, Microsoft Office applications, and preferably, Oncology Information Systems.
