Job Description

Responsibilities Work with our Events/Activities Committee to prepare and present a variety of craft, art, gardening, or music activities with our community. Duties include setting up and disassembling these activities, meeting and greeting attendees, signing off attendees, running the small event (approx. 10-20 people), cleaning the space before and after the event. You may also assist with teaching and sharing your skills in the activities. Community Engagement Engage our community in art, craft, and music. Promote social inclusion within the volunteer and the broader community, contributing to community members, including some who are vulnerable. This role is best suited to a self-starter who can work with minimal supervision. Workshop Types Succulent workshop (succulents in pots) assistance provided Woven pots workshop Mosaic art workshop Kokedama workshop Teddy bears picnic Kids art programs Adult art programs Polymer clay craft and jewellery Wind chime making Pot painting Gardening activities Other arts, music, gardening, and craft activities you may be interested in Training Role-specific training provided.
