Permanent FullTime Career Opportunity & Casual Positions for an Aerodrome Reporting Officer (ARO) 38 hours per week (Permanent) or ''as needs basis'' (Casual) Attractive hourly rate from: Permanent FullTime $29.51 - $33.86 + Penalty rates on weekends Casual $36.89 - $42.32 including 25% loadings 12% Superannuation Contribution Location Moree You dont need to be an aviation expert. What Youll Do Conduct daily safety inspections of runways, taxiways, and movement areas. Maintain compliance with CASA standards and ensure aerodrome certification requirements are met. Operate light plant and equipment to maintain grounds and airside areas. Record and report on safety inspections, wildlife hazards, and maintenance activities. Undertake wildlife control in line with the Bird and Wildlife Hazard Management Plan. Support aerodrome maintenance and construction projects. Assist with aerodrome lighting maintenance following CASA standards. Provide security services in compliance with the Aviation Transport Security Act 2004. Liaise with stakeholders including CASA, aircraft operators, and emergency services. Respond to emergency and afterhours callouts as required. Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to liaise with aviation stakeholders. Sound understanding of Workplace Health and Safety practices. Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Physical capability to operate mowers and equipment for extended periods. Current Class C Drivers Licence, White Card, and First Aid Certificate. Desirable Relevant aerodrome operations experience and understanding of CASA regulations. Certificate III in Aviation (Ground Operations). Chemical Application Certificate (AQF 3). Firearms Licence.
