The Kerbside Compliance Officer supports our community to get it right on bin night. The Kerbside Compliance Officer uses a range of tools including face to face education and enforcement of Local Law to address the correct use of domestic residential kerbside bins. The role supports waste diversion and resource recovery through kerbside bin inspections, hard waste and bundled branch services inspections, and assists with enforcement of dumped trolleys and other illegal dumping. About you You have a passion for interacting and talking to a huge range of community members from diverse backgrounds. You have an enthusiasm for resource recovery and recycling and a desire to make an impact for future generations. You will also be a collaborative and reliable team member who can gain commitment and cooperation from community members, resolving conflict and ensuring that the community deals with their waste and recycling in the best possible way. This role would be suitable for people commencing their career in the environmental and waste sectors or people who have undertaken public facing roles in the past.
