About the role ARRCS are currently sourcing a qualified and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to support the team and residents at Juninga Aged Care Facility located in Coconut Grove. This role is being offered on a casual basis where you will be contacted on an ad hoc basis to source availability of unoccupied shifts. The role attracts a salary of $47.34 $48.82 per hour with a 25% casual loading. As an ARRCS Registered Nurse you will provide clinical care to our residents, mentor and support the support workers, and help achieve peoplefocused quality care in line with the ARRCS mission. At Juninga we have 26 permanently renovated residential beds. We ensure social, emotional, cultural, and spiritual requirements are met in a respectful and supportive way. This role is ideally suited to someone who enjoys working within an aged care facility and is supportive and comfortable working with the elderly. You will have a firm yet caring nature and be a handson person who is always willing to jump in and support the team when required. You will be an RN looking for casual work only, not a set or fixed roster. Skills and experience Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse. Bachelor of Nursing or similar qualification. Full rights to work in Australia. Ability to liaise with a care team and to provide coordinated care. Knowledge of contemporary nursing practice. Demonstrated understanding of residentcentred and residentialbased care services delivery. Experience working in a multidisciplinary and multicultural care team in a range of settings. Experienced in effective interpersonal and written communication skills including intermediate computer skills.
