Tier 1 Miner | 7/7 Roster | Permanent Full-TimeWe are seeking skilled and motivated Excavator Fitters who are ready to take the next step into supervision with a tier 1 miner. This role is ideal for tradespeople wanting to expand their hands on experience into leadership, while working on some of the largest mining fleets in the Bowen Basin. About the Role Day Shift: Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on large mining excavators (CAT, Liebherr, Hitachi). Night Shift: Step into a Supervisor role, leading and supporting a maintenance crew. Future Pathway: Gain exposure to leadership with opportunities to grow into permanent supervisory or management positions. Key Responsibilities Carry out inspections, repairs, and fault finding on heavy mining excavators. Provide guidance and leadership on night shift, ensuring safe and efficient operations. Support and mentor fitters and contractors, promoting a strong team culture. Report to the Maintenance Superintendent with accurate updates and recommendations. Drive improvements in safety, reliability, and performance. What Were Looking For Trade qualified Diesel Fitter with solid industry experience. Strong knowledge and hands on experience with large mining excavators (CAT, Liebherr, Hitachi). Supervisory or leading hand experience is desirable but not essential.
