Mining Supervisor Draglines Join to apply for the Mining Supervisor role at Coronado Global Resources Inc. We currently have a Mining Supervisor - Draglines opportunity at our Curragh North Complex in Blackwater. Curragh Mine is one of the largest opencut coal mines in Queenslands Bowen Basin and is located only 12 kilometres from the local township of Blackwater. What Youll Do Reporting to the Mining Coordinator, you will be responsible for monitoring operating techniques and productivity, team member development, performance management and leave management for the shift. You will drive production through effective leadership and coaching of crews to ensure that the Production Plans are implemented and monitored in accordance with Curragh mine policy and procedures. Additionally, you will also offer advice and guidance to the Mining Superintendent on achieving production targets. This role will be working a 7/7 roster. What Youll Bring At least two years demonstrated leadership experience in Dragline or ROM Supervision. A background in leading a large team as a frontline supervisor or stepup supervisor experience. You will have a proactive attitude towards safety, strong leadership abilities and be a team player. Demonstrate a strong commitment to identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities. The collaboration skills to work across various stakeholders to ensure overburden and coaling activities are performed in line with the mine plan.
