Qualifications & Experience Bachelors Degree or higher in Science/Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent, with pathologyrelevant subjects from a recognised tertiary institution Demonstrated knowledge and experience delivering pathology services, with use of Laboratory Information Systems, Patient Systems, Quality Control Systems and Microsoft Office suite Customerfocused approach with strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, including report writing and statistical evaluation of scientific data Ability to work responsibly and efficiently, managing competing priorities to meet deadlines Teamplayer with ability to work autonomously, delivering results within specified timeframes and contributing to diagnostic skills relevant to the laboratory Initiative, problemsolving and analytical skills, applying established principles and investigating & resolving general and complex laboratory issues Understanding of legislation, policies and requirements impacting the laboratory, including work health and safety and privacy requirements Current unencumbered NSW Class C Drivers Licence and willingness to travel to other sites for work and training Occupational Assessment & Vaccination This is a CategoryA position.
