We''re looking for a driven and experienced HSE Advisor to help drive the ISS safety culture and assist with the development and rollout of safety initiatives and training across a multi-site contract with Defence across South Australia and Western Australia. Responsibilities Lead and manage implementation and auditing of the HSE Management System and maintain sitespecific HSE Plans. Optimize processes: identify and implement strategies to improve operational performance, reduce costs, boost productivity, and attain KPIs. Drive projects: undertake and assist with incident investigations and preparation of safety reports. Manage and maintain HSE registers and compile weekly/monthly HSE reports. Foster team success: discuss, monitor and assist staff in the safe delivery of onsite activities. Provision of sound technical HSEQ advice to site teams. Develop and deliver safety and toolbox meetings. Ensure compliance: assist, implement and monitor return to work programs. Knowledge of relevant State WHS and environment law and ISO standards. Strong ability to lead and manage change and influence managers and other stakeholders. Lead by example and model behaviours that underpin a constructive safety culture. Confident user of MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint and Excel). Effective collaborator with excellent communication skills. Demonstrated experience in a WHS role in the resources, construction, facilities management or manufacturing sectors. Lead ICAM Investigator Certificate and experience in HighPotential / Serious Incident investigations. Strong influencing and communication skills (coaching and mentoring). Unrestricted C Class Driver''s License. Essential requirement: Australian Citizen ability to gain a Defence Baseline Clearance.
