About the role Were looking for a fulltime Client Service Officer (CSO) to join our small, supportive team. This role is ideal for someone who wants to build a longterm career in financial planning, with a clear pathway into paraplanning or adviser over time. The opportunity Work model: Officebased to start, with hybrid workfromhome options available once training and probation are successfully completed Hours: Fulltime Commencement: Early 2026 (or earlier for the right candidate) Youll work closely with the Proprietor, Financial Advisers and the rest of the support team to ensure our clients receive a seamless, professional and caring experience from first contact through to ongoing reviews. What youll be doing Prepare client files before and after appointments (including annual review meetings) Manage and maintain the client review schedule so reviews are completed on time Coordinate and implement advice recommendations, including preparing and processing forms and documentation Follow up outstanding requirements with product providers and clients Ensure client records are accurate and compliant and kept up to date in our systems Act as a key point of contact for clients answering queries, keeping them informed and making them feel welcome and supported Liaise with the Proprietor, Financial Advisers, paraplanners and product providers to keep advice moving and deadlines on track Participate in internal meetings and contribute to improving processes and client experience over time About you Youre organised, personable and keen to learn. You enjoy supporting others, have strong attention to detail and want to grow your career in financial planning. Ideally, you will have: Experience in financial services e.g. working in a super fund, financial planning practice or similar RG146 in Financial Advice OR are studying towards a relevant degree (Commerce, Business, Financial Planning or similar) Strong written and verbal communication skills and a clientcentric mindset Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word & Excel); experience with advice software (e.g. Xplan) is an advantage Solid organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks while meeting deadlines A high level of personal maturity and professionalism able to handle confidential information, sensitive client conversations and responsibilities with discretion A genuine interest in building a longterm career that could progress into paraplanning or an advice role over time Above all, culture fit is the most important factor.
