Overview The Enrolled Nurse provides direct patient/clientcentred nursing care to assigned patients/clients, within the scope of practice of an enrolled nurse and under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse/midwife to achieve planned patient outcomes. Enrolled Nurses are expected to adhere to relevant policies and protocols, including mandatory education, training and competency assessments. They play a vital role in delivering holistic patient care, fostering a safe, supportive environment, and participating in multidisciplinary team discussions to support the achievement of desired outcomes under the direction of the Nurse Unit Manager. You will need A sound knowledge of principles, procedures and practices pertaining to Enrolled Nursing Practice. Demonstrated effective written and oral communication skills. Details of appointment Permanent, parttime, shift worker position, working up to 64 hours per fortnight, commencing from 1 February 2026. Hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant. For a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar fulltime, parttime, and casual vacancies. Salary $73,109 to $80,524 per annum (Pro rata). The Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount. The salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023. Access to the Grade4 salary range ($102,439 $109,175) is subject to successful application for progression to Grade4. PostGraduate Allowance of up to 7.5% based on qualification type may be available based on the salaried incremental point. Salary Packaging Youll have access to a salary package that includes living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other eligible benefits.
