About the role Reporting to the General Manager, you will be applying your leadership skills to drive the day-to-day operations of the Service Department. Our duties include, but are not limited to: Lead, manage, and support the Service Department landscape. From service advisors at the front of the house to apprentices and technicians in the workshop. Ensure a seamless, positive customer experience by your teams from the initial vehicle check-in to the vehicle''s collection. Drive department profitability and achieve set performance KPIs. Ensure a customer-first approach is applied to your teams on-show culture, effectively addressing and rectifying customer concerns promptly. Cultivate and maintain a safe working environment, ensuring the correct operation of tools and specialised equipment, and the practice of all 5s principles. Collaborate with Workshop Controller to ensure efficient workshop scheduling, technician efficiency and quality standards are maintained and mitigated. Coach, drive, and performance-manage teams, creating a collaborative team environment and supportive work culture to ensure retention and development within the department. Work to ensure the department standards align with our Toyota For Life framework guides and mirror the high standards required of the Toyota brand. Be the lead in fostering a positive team culture and excellent working environment for your teams. Qualifications Proven leadership experience ideally within a franchised Dealership or Large Workshop. An automotive or Truck mechanical background is essential. A Genuine passion for delivering an exceptional customer experience. Ability to problem solve, work well under pressure, and execute excellent time management. Be agile, flexible, and adaptable within a fast-paced environment. Excellent written and verbal communication and sound computer literacy. Operate with a high level of Integrity and lead by example.
